About Trust St. Patrick Schools
Trust St. Patrick Schools (TSPS), formerly Trust Junior Academy (TJA) are fully fledged co-educational day and boarding English Medium schools of the levels of Preparatory, Primary.
These schools of interational standards are registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
We also have a Boys Boarding Secondary School.
The schools are located along Arusha-Nairobi road, about 7 km from the Arusha municipal Clock Tower in the Arusha region, Tanzania.
It all started way back in January 1997 when a humble family lead by Patrick Khanya, who used to be a professional teacher in primary and secondary schools in Arusha region.
Under the leadership of this simple teacher, fundamental steps to establish the school were taken. When the school was opened 21 students were registered and by the end of the same year the number of students increased to 78. Following the trust and support by the community, the management found it necessary to establish a primary school and later secondary school. Currently, TSPS has a total number of more than 1200 students.
These modern education facilities, apart from offering ordinary academic courses, avail extra curricula activities such as educational tours, debates, religious studies as well as sports and games.
Despite its excellent track records academically, TSPS decided not to be pleased by the positions acquired in various interschools tests, mock and national examinations which are normally a day’s work or two but rather take further steps to strengthen student’s individual potentials and talents through daily continuous assessments academically and socially. Kindly note that all Primary 7 finalists pass their national examinations and get selected to join government schools including the famous special schools.
